How to choose a heat pump for heating a pool
The capacity of a pool heat pump depends on the water volume. The table shows the recommended volumes from the Dolphin technical documentation; the ranges of neighboring models overlap, so for a pool on the borderline choose the more powerful model.

A pool without a cover, with a longer season or in a cooler region needs more capacity; an indoor pool needs less. For public and hotel pools, an engineer will calculate the Whale model from the basin dimensions and operating conditions.
Heat pump for a 20–30 m³ pool
For a 20–30 m³ pool, the Dolphin 7 kW is suitable — its recommended volume is 15–30 m³. If the pool has no cover or the season is longer, choose the Dolphin 9 kW (20–40 m³). Both models run on a 230 V supply.

The inverter Dolphin smoothly adjusts its capacity to the pool's demand — the 5 kW model operates in the range of 1.5–5.5 kW — and produces noise from 30 dB(A), so it is installed near the house. Whale is chosen for public pools where 40 kW or more is needed.
Single-phase and three-phase models: 230 V and 380 V
Dolphin of 5, 7, 9, 11, 15, 18, 21 and 25 kW run on a 230 V supply. The 21 and 25 kW models are also available in a three-phase version, and the 28 kW only at 380 V. The entire Whale series is three-phase, 380 V.
Installation and connection
Dolphin is connected to the filtration circuit with a 50 mm pipe. Installation and connection are carried out by Termojet partners. For a house next to the pool, a separate heat pump for heating is suitable.
